After having completed 20 years of being an independent legal practitioner, I was chosen as one of the recipients of a Scholarship to pursue a Masters Degree in Environmental and Natural Resources Law from the Lewis and Clark College, Portland, Oregon in the year 2009. I obtained environmental credits in Environmental Enforcement, Hazardous Waste Management, Climate Change Law and Energy Law. Since 2010 and on my return to India I have been writing on International Environmental Law, Energy transitions, Climate Change and Sustainable Development, presenting academic papers at several international conferences.
